Adam Simpson


Adam is an exceptionally talented screenwriter from Chester, graduating from both Sheffield and Liverpool universities with degrees in English and Scriptwriting for Film & TV. In 2010 his screenplay ONE MORE UNFORTUNATE was long-listed for the prestigious Red Planet Prize and he is currently adapting it for the stage. He received one-to-one mentoring from Jimmy McGovern on his subsequent screenplay, BEATEN, which is loosely based on the case of Peter Harvey, the teacher charged with the attempted murder of one of his pupils. He is currently a member of the writers’ forum at the Lantern Theatre in Liverpool.
