Ed is a young Brighton-based playwright and poet. His plays include MONGREL ISLAND (Soho Theatre), THE COW PLAY (Edinburgh Fringe), NEVER EVER AFTER (shortlisted for the Meyer-Whitworth Award) and WHAT THE THUNDER SAID (Theatre Centre, Writers’ Guild Award 2017). He has also written numerous critically-acclaimed radio plays, leading to a hat-trick of awards successes: a Writers’ Guild Award in 2012 (for TROLL), a Sony Gold Award in 2013 (for THE RESISTANCE OF MRS BROWN), a BBC Audio Drama Award in 2014 (for BILLIONS). Ed’s first Radio 4 sitcom DOT has recently been commissioned for a second series.
