Gus Gowland

Gus is a dramatist and songwriter working principally in musical theatre.  His musical PIECES OF STRING has its premiere at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester in April 2018.   He was shortlisted for the inaugural Perfect Pitch award in 2013 and his songs TAKE ME BACK and TURNING STONES have been shortlisted for the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Award. Previous work includes musicals SICK and BARREN ( Lost Theatre), TELL ME ON A THURSDAY (Camden Fringe), MINISCULE MUSICALS -as producer/director - (Royal Vauxhall Tavern).  Gus’s songs have been performed by the Olivier Award winning theatre collective, Duckie and in London and New York as part of the NEXT showcase series.
