Career Highlights:
• Hattrick’s new BBC comedy, “Outnumbered”, featured 3 very young children. As Sound Recordist, tasked with capturing a naturalistic performance without any scripted dialogue. Agreed approach with writers/directors; radio miked actors; identified optimum methods to capture performances; dealt with challenge of low voice levels/improvised dialogue; and completed all sound post-production. Succeeded in delivering the project on time & budget, with the programme running for 5 series & winning numerous awards.

• Channel4 were producing a scripted comedy, “PowerMonkeys”, written & transmitted on the same day. As Sound Supervisor, designed a workflow to deliver a high-quality soundtrack in a limited timeframe. Liaised with key creatives; hired/coordinated 14-person sound team for location sound; mixed programme after edit; and mentored sound team up to transmission. Succeeded in creating an efficient workflow to ensure all episodes were delivered on time for transmission, with a series subsequently commissioned utilising this workflow process.

• Red Planet were keen to reduce ADR requirements on the next series of “Death in Paradise”, a crime comedy programme. As Sound Recordist, engaged to improve sound recording processes. Liaised with producers/sound recording team; actioned/improved workflow; strengthened location sound capture process/dealt with adverse conditions; and radio miked all actors.
