Bio
Matilda Tristram studied animation at the Royal College of Art and has since worked as a screenwriter, author and illustrator. She was co-creator and co-writer for THE ADVENTURES OF ABNEY AND TEAL (Ragdoll Productions/CBeebies). Her other writing credits for children's animation includeDIPDAP (Ragdoll Productions/CBeebies) which won a BAFTA, SARAH AND DUCK (Karrot/CBeebies), OLOBOB TOP (Beakus/CBeebies) PEPPA PIG (Elf Factory/Nick Jr.) and MORPH (Aardman/Sky Kids).
Matilda also writes comics for adults. Her graphic novel, PROBABLY NOTHING, is published by Penguin and being adapted for television by Fable Pictures (ROCKS, WILD ROSE). She has co-written two children's picture books with Tom Duxbury, SANTA'S BEARD and REINDEER'S NOSE, both published by Walker Books. Her book about drawing, MY YEAR IN SMALL DRAWINGS, is published by Quarto.
