Consultant

Bare-knuckle fighter Paddy Monaghan is most famous for his unbroken record of 114 fights. Paddy’s book STREET FIGHTING MAN (John Blake) details his struggle as an illiterate northern irish boy growing up in England. A staunch Muhammad Ali fan, he launched a one-man campaign to protest the stripping of Ali’s boxing licence in 1967 and was credited with coining the phrase ‘Ali, the people’s champion'; Paddy and Ali became firm friends. The film rights in Paddy’s inspirational book have previously been optioned and a new screenplay is in development.
