Pete McTighe


British writer Pete McTighe began his writing career in Australia where he quickly emerged as one of the country’s most exciting young series writers. He was lead writer on WENTWORTH PRISON (FremantleMedia/Channel 5), which has been an international hit and sold to over 80 territories, with Pete’s scripts also being translated for German and Dutch remakes. Pete’s UK credits include EASTENDERS (BBC), TATAU (BBC) and CARA FI (S4C) amongst others, and since 2014 he has developed work with numerous production companies including ITV Studios, BBC Studios, Kudos, Drama Republic, Clerkenwell Films, Red, Bonafide Films, Hillbilly, Working Title, Mammoth Screen, NBC-Universal, Heyday Television and Lionsgate.
