Sam Hoyle


Sam is a Script Executive and Head of Development for Chris Chibnall’s production company, Imaginary Friends Productions. She has worked closely with Chris on all three series of the hit ITV, BAFTA winning series, Broadchurch.  Other credits include Chris’ two films about the Great Train Robbery: A Robber’s Tale and A Copper’s Tale for World Productions/BBC1, The Life and Adventures of Nick Nickleby for BBC1 and Camelot, a 10 part series for US cable network, Starz.

Previously Sam made audio drama for the BBC.  She was behind the reboot of the Agatha Christie brand on Radio 4, and has also made a highly regarded adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels, and as well as plays about Keith Moon, Oliver Reed and Vincent Price.

Recently, Sam co-created television series Trip, with writer Louise Fox. It is in development with See-Saw Films.
