Nick Ormerod

Bio

Designer/director/writer Nick Ormerod is co-founder and co-artistic director of the renowned theatre company Cheek by Jowl with Declan Donnellan, designs for which include TROILUS AND CRESSIDA, CYMBELINE and THE CHANGELING. 

Other credits include designing his co-adaptation of GREAT EXPECTATIONS as well as SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL for the RSC, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE for Disney/Sonia Friedman Productions, FUERTE VENTURE, ANGELS IN AMERICA and THE MANDATE for the National Theatre. With Declan, Nick co-directed the feature film BEL AMI.
