Adam Hughes

Adam is a playwright and screenwriter from Leeds, of Polish and Ukrainian heritage. He is currently writing an episode of a brand-new crime series for Lookout Point and has recently been accepted onto the BBC Cosy Crime Writers Scheme, as well as developing several original ideas of his own. Previously, he has taken part in writersrooms for AMC/Acorn TV and has written for the BAFTA Award-winning CASUALTY. For stage, he is under-commission to English Touring Theatre and Leeds Playhouse and his stage credits include JOY (Leeds Playhouse), WHERE DO WE GO NEXT (Bunker Theatre), WEST END GIRLS (Live Theatre) and JAMES GRAHAM’S SKETCHING (Wilton’s Music Hall).
