Bio

Adam is an exceptionally talented writer from Chester, graduating from both Sheffield and Liverpool universities with degrees in English and Scriptwriting for Film & TV. He was commissioned to write for the latest series of LA Productions' series MOVING ON with his episode airing in February 2019 on BBC One. In 2010 his screenplay ONE MORE UNFORTUNATE was long-listed for the prestigious Red Planet Prize following which he adapted the story for the stage and the play was long listed for the prestigious Bruntwood prize in 2017. He received one-to-one mentoring from Jimmy McGovern on his subsequent screenplay, BEATEN, which is loosely based on the case of Peter Harvey, the teacher charged with the attempted murder of one of his pupils. He is currently a member of the writers' forum at the Lantern Theatre in Liverpool and is writing further pieces for screen and stage.
