Charlotte Morgan Jones

Charlotte is a Welsh writer and producer from Nantyglo in the South Wales Valleys. She trained with National Theatre of Wales and at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Her work is rooted in working-class storytelling, shaped by the women she was raised by and their tradition of bold, unapologetic narratives. In 2018, she was nominated for an Olivier Award for her role in the retelling of the mothers of the Aberfan disaster, and also received an Off West End Award nomination.

Charlotte co-runs a commercial production company, where one of the commercials she wrote was a finalist for a Young Arrow Award.

She is currently developing new projects with her writing partner, Katie Elin-Salt, as well as with Fiction Factory, who have described her as “one of the most exciting and distinctive working-class voices of her generation.
