Gary Sewell

Gary is a BAFTA-nominated and AWGIE-winning writer and producer. He was selected for the 2023 BBC Studios Writers’ Academy, and the 2020 Edinburgh TV Festival’s ‘Ones to Watch’ scheme. He is a regular writer for HOLLYOAKS and has also written many episodes of HOME AND AWAY, having initially worked on both shows as a storyliner, script editor and producer.

Gary has a particular passion for thrillers, dark comedies and weaving LGBT+ themes into stories that grip and surprise.
