Hannah Sibai

Hannah Sibai is a British/Syrian designer based in Yorkshire. Trained at Wimbledon School of Art, she has designed over 80 productions across the UK and Europe, working across theatre, film, music videos and installation. Her practice is highly collaborative, and she regularly works with directors, writers, choreographers and composers from the earliest stages of development to create design-led work that places visual storytelling at its core.

Hannah has a particular interest in new writing, devised and interactive performance, and is drawn to projects that are playful and inventive. She is passionate about creating environments that support performers while shaping the audience’s experience in dynamic and engaging ways.

She is especially excited by politically and socially engaged work, and sees design as a vital tool in telling meaningful stories for audiences of all ages.
