Jenna Al-Ansari

Jenna is a Bahraini-British writer, living in London. She is currently developing projects with Sister Pictures, Blue Marble, Silver Salt, Hat Trick and Big Beach. She was in the writersroom for Leo Reich's series IT GET'S WORSE (A24/C4) and for Phoebe Waller-Bridge's TOMB RAIDER for Amazon. She won the inaugural Sister Pictures/South of the River Screenshot competition in 2021 and also won the winner of the Sky Arts RSL Screenwriting Award 2022. 
 

Jenna also works with OKRE and The Wellcome Trust supporting the development of television, video games and films which contribute to a better understanding of subjects such as planetary emergency, mental health, poverty and migration.
