Bio
Kitty is a writer, composer and lyricist.
Mentored by Claude Michel Schonberg, her musical A LITTLE PRINCESS and play ONCE UPON A WINTER are published by Eldridge Editors. Kitty is developing several pieces of theatre and TV, including a musical adaptation of the classic poem THE HIGHWAYMAN.
Commissioned works include JOHN COURTNEY’S JANE EYRE (The Bronte Society), IF IT’S NOT ON IT’S NOT ON (The Microbiology Society). Produced works include THE WATER IS NO PLACE TO PLAY (Theatre 503) starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, WUTHERING HEIGHTS (Workshopped at The Other Palace and Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds), NEVER LAND (ITV1’s Fortune, Outdoor theatre at Kensington Gardens, The Colourhouse Theatre) and HUSH, LITTLE BABY (The Canal Cafe Theatre). Kitty has a Masters degree in playwriting, tutored by David Edgar and Moira Buffini, and her play THE KITTENS IN THE BAG was shortlisted by the BBC Writer’s Room.
