Bio
Lee is a working class writer based in Liverpool, whose work spans theatre, audio drama and television. His screenwriting work includes contributing to the revival series of PLAY FOR TODAY, where Lee wrote the episode 'Special Measures' (LA Productions of Channel 5). He has also written for MOVING ON (BBC/LA Productions), a TV series created by the acclaimed Jimmy McGovern.
A graduate of the Liverpool Everyman Writers programme, Lee’s theatre work has been performed at notable venues across the UK, including the Royal Exchange Manchester, Lost Theatre Wandsworth, Hope Mill Theatre, and the Liverpool Everyman. Lee has also developed stories with BBC Audio Drama North and written for the popular Wondery Podcast, TERRIBLY FAMOUS.
A finalist for the prestigious Alfred Bradley Award, Lee received a special commendation for their writing. His work has also been shortlisted for other awards such as The BAFTA Rocliffe and the Norther Writers Award among others. Lee was also part of the BBC Cosy Crime Residential for FATHER BROWN, run by BBC Studios.
Currently, Lee is developing original projects with production companies and working on new material.
