Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor is a composer and lyricist who spends time in the classical as well as theatre world. Recent commissions include works for the BBC Philharmonic, Garsington Opera and Grange Festival. The multi-award-winning musical, FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS, was first produced at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre, with subsequent productions at Chichester Festival Theatre and London Riverside Theatre, as well as internationally. Other musicals include THE GO-BETWEEN (UKTheatreAwards Best Musical winner), produced regionally then in the West End starring Michael Crawford, and the first musical adaptation of WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND. Richard has composed scores for almost 100 plays around the UK and in the West End.
