Bio
Sam Wilde is a multi-award-winning Set, Costume, and Puppetry Designer based in Bristol. He was the designer and puppet maker for the Olivier-nominated The Nutcracker (2025) with Little Bulb Theatre Company and won the TYA: Design Off West End Award in 2023. Sam was also a finalist for TYA: Writer for his work on The I WANT MY HAT BACK Trilogy. In 2022, he won the Paper episode of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas on Channel 4.
Sam is the Artistic Director of Cardboard Adventures and was featured on The Stage 100 list for 2020/21. He also served as the 2016/17 Laboratory Set and Costume Designer at Nuffield Theatres, Southampton.
