Bio

Vicky Moran is a theatre director who trained at RCSSD and on the National Theatre Studio Directors Course. She was the Resident Assistant Director at Cardboard Citizens (Jerwood Arts Bursary Award Winner 2017-2019) and has been a Project Associate for The Young Vic, Mentor Director for National Theatre Connections and is a regular Director for Donmar Warehouse's Take the Stage.  Directing credits include: BURY THE HATCHET (Pleasance Dome), BANGERS (Bristol Old Vic/National Tour), £1 THURSDAYS (Finborough Theatre), VOICES THROUGH TIME (Hoxton Hall), NO SWEAT (Pleasance London), IN THE NET (Jermyn Street Theatre), KHOJALY (Union Theatre), NOMAD (Tramshed/Greenwich Theatre) ARLINGTON HOUSE, HIDDEN GEM, TRESPASSERS WELCOME (Cardboard Citizens). £1 THURSDAYS by Kat Rose-Martin was named the Best New Play of 2023 in Broadway World. 

Assistant Direction includes HAMLET (Royal Shakespeare Company), THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES (Hampstead Theatre), CATHY (National Tour) and RISING (Cardboard Citizens). Associate credits include: THE BRIEF LIFE AND MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF BORIS III, KING OF BULGARIA (National Tour), DANCE (The Kings Head).

Vicky also works extensively with young people and community groups. She has directed creative projects for organisations such as: The Old Vic, Donmar Warehouse, National Theatre, The Young Vic, Kiln Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Clean Break, GDIF and Actors Touring Company. Productions include: STUCK ON REPLAY (Lyric Hammersmith START Young Company), THE TRIALS (Southwark Playhouse Young Ensemble Company ) and FATHERS CHRISTMAS (Kestrel Theatre/HMP Springhill).
