Vivian Full

Vivian is a Canadian-Chinese filmmaker based in London, working across film, television, animation and stage in the UK, the United States and Canada. She brings a rare dual fluency in animation and live action, with a strong focus on layered performances and visually intimate storytelling.

She is currently developing her debut feature, With Love, written by Lizzie Nunnery, supported by the BFI Film Fund and produced by Blue Horizon Productions.

Alongside her feature work, Vivian has directed a number of award-winning short films recognised internationally. She has received Best Director awards from the IndieX Film Festival (Los Angeles), Independent Shorts Awards (Los Angeles) and Indie Shorts Awards Miami, as well as the EIFA Best Director (Student) award at the Edinburgh Independent Film Festival. Her most recent shorts, Accretion and Aftercare, are currently on the festival circuit.

Vivian has a significant track record in television, having worked extensively as a Creative Executive and Episodic Director for Moonbug Entertainment across globally successful series including Gecko’s Garage, Morphle, KiiYii, Little Baby Bum and Lellobee City Farm. These projects have reached Top Ten status on Netflix and broadcast internationally across platforms including CBeebies, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video.

She has also directed music videos for artists including Claudillea from The Voice UK and Madalen Duke, with work featured in Netflix’s The Old Guard.

Vivian’s work is defined by emotional clarity, visual precision and a strong instinct for storytelling. She is a director with both creative ambition and proven experience delivering at scale.
