Wanda Opalińska

Wanda has co-created the period crime drama FLOWERS FOR THE DEAD which is currently in development with DCD Rights. Her romcom feature with Reel One THE PRINCE AND THE PA, is available on streaming services. 

A graduate of the WFTV Mentoring Scheme, Wanda is also an experienced comedy writer: she was part of the Jongleurs' Comedy Factory writing room, has written and perfomed in live sketch comedy (Soho Theatre, Guilded Balloon) and co-wrote the comedy TV pilot THREE WOMEN IN TIME (dir: Graeme Harper).

Other work includes co-creating the light entertainment format I SANG IT MY WAY, which was a finalist at the MIPCOM International Pitching Competition and developing a contemporary police series that was optioned by Thunderclap Media. 

She has a deal with One More Chapter (Harper Collins) as co-author for two detective novels. 

Wanda is also a prolific actress with roles across television, fim, theatre and radio.
