Beth is a neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, and Dyspraxic) performer and writer with chronic pain from The Wirral.

Beth’s first play SUNNY GIRL was a finalist at Hope Mill Theatre’s Through the Mill Prize 2021 and her second play AWARENESS was just shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting. Her first sitcom LOST TIME was longlisted for the 2019 Funny Women’s Comedy Writing Award.

Beth is an alumni of the Royal Court Introduction to playwriting course, Young Everyman Playhouse writers, Royal Court (Liverpool)’s Stage Write program, and Writing on the Wall’s Write What’s Next. She is also currently part of BBC Writersoom: Write Across Liverpool, The Writing Squad, and is part of Box of Trick’s Pen Pal program. She is part of the DaDa/NSDF company who will create a show to perform at 2022’s NSDF in Leicester.

Keen to improve the representation of neurodiversity and disability in her work and beyond, Beth also is co-founder of the Neurodivergent Creatives Network on twitter, which has over 1000 followers and has been featured in The Stage.
