Joe Williams

Joe Williams is one of the most prolific and popular writers for children’s television in the UK. Joe is currently Lead Writer and Executive Producer on THEODOSIA (Cottonwood/ZDF/CBBC/HBO MAX), based on the best-selling series of books by Robin L. LaFevers. Other recent credits include ALMOST NEVER (Salt Beef/CBBC) and JAMIE JOHNSON (Short Form).

Joe adapted the HANK ZIPZER series of books, by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver (Walker Productions/Kindle) and wrote the TV film adaptation HANK ZIPZER’S CHRISTMAS CATASTROPHE which won the International Emmy Kids Award for TV Movie/ Mini-Series in 2017. Joe’s other credits include YOUNG DRACULA (CBBC), THE SPARTICLE MYSTERY (CBBC), DANI’S HOUSE (RDF/CBBC), SUMMER IN TRANSYLVANIA (Nickelodeon), MY PARENTS ARE ALIENS (Granada Kids) and HORRID HENRY (Novel Entertainment/ITV).
