Lee Lyford


Lee is a freelance theatre director whose productions range from the intimate BLUEBEARD at Soho Theatre to an epic adaptation of BEN HUR featuring a cast of 130. His most recent production is THE BORROWERS at Polka Theatre. Upcoming work includes THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS at Sherman Theatre, Cardiff and THE NIGHT WATCH by Sarah Waters at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.  From 2009-2015 Lee was Associate Director of The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath directing more than 40 productions on all three stages and achieving particular critical acclaim for his inventive Christmas shows including THE NUTCRACKER and MOOMINLAND MIDWINTER.  Lee is a regular director for Bristol Old Vic’s new writing/theatre making programme Ferment.
