Naomi is an alumna of Soho Theatre writers lab. In 2020, she wrote her Tony Craze Award Shortlisted play ALL THE HAPPY THINGS which was recently performed as a part of Theatre 503’s Summer Season. Her first play ESSENTIALLY BLACK was performed in a sold out run at Soho Theatre as a part of Soho Rising 2022, and she is currently developing her latest piece, SUNRISE MADELINES. Naomi also writes for audio, and her podcast pitch, THE WATERS OF LETHE was shortlisted for Soho Theatre & NBC’s Overheard podcast competition. Most recently, she wrote for Rikki Beadle-Blair’s anthologies, LIT and FIERCE, and is currently under commission to write a touring theatre piece based around Black women’s experience of breast cancer and the healthcare system, as well as adapting ESSENTIALLY BLACK for TV.
