Oli Rose


Oli is the artistic director of Rogues’ Gallery and a freelance theatre director. He is directing Britten in Brooklyn at Wiltons’ Music Hall in September 2016. For Rogues’ Gallery his shows include RUN (VAULT 2016); THE INCREDIBLE ONE MAN PANDEMIC (Vault 2014); SOCK PUPPET (The Yard, Pleasance Edinburgh); THE FOLK CONTRAPTION (Vault 2012, Southbank Spiegeltent, Latitude); THE BOY I LOVE IS UP IN THE GALLERY (Hoxton Hall) and DOG IN THE MANGER (Hoxton Hall.) Other shows include PILGRIM’S PROGRESS (Site specific, St James’ Church); COFFIN (King’s Head); SHEEPS (Pleasance Edinburgh) and TAMING OF THE SHREW (Powell Theatre.) Oli won the Old Vic New Voices Ignite 5 competition and also completed OVNV’s 24 Hour Plays and TS Eliot New York Exchange. He was the associate director on Declan Donnellan’s production of SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and in 2016 took the show to Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Ontario, Canada. Oli has also assisted Mike Leigh (ECSTASY); Richard Eyre (THE LAST OF THE DUCHESS); Melly Still (BEASTS AND BEAUTIES); Annie Castledine (MEDEA); and Edward Hall (CHARIOTS OF FIRE and LOYALTY.)
