Paul Kewley

Paul is one of the UK’s most prominent producers of animated films and has a number of animations and live action films in development through his company PEK Productions. After establishing himself in the US, Paul returned to the UK and joined Aardman Animations as a key player in developing the company’s feature film slate. At Aardman Paul produced the Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE with Julie Lockhart and co-produced Emmy-winning SHAUN Special, THE FARMERS LLAMAS. Paul raised finance for various films on Aardman’s feature slate including Nick Park’s EARLY MAN (on which he was a Co-Executive Producer) and was architect of the BFI/Aardman Film Lab, a scheme intended to develop animated projects in the UK. He then produced A SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE: FARMAGEDDON for Aardman Animations and StudioCanal.

Paul is currently based back in the US, working across a slate of US and UK projects.
